Do you share my images on social media or a website for marketing purposes?

ONLY if you provide Kimberly Kay Photography with permission to do so.  Boudoir photography is a very private and vulnerable experience, and I respect everyone's right to privacy.  If you choose to allow Kimberly Kay Photography to utilize some of the images from your boudoir shoot, I will provide a model release for you to sign, as well as show you which images I plan to use in advance for approval.

Do you provide a hair and makeup stylist?

Yes, that is part of the overall fun experience.  We can provide anything from a very natural look to full glam whatever fits your style.  If you prefer to book your own favorite stylist you are free to choose a customized package that does not include our stylist.

Do you photoshop the final images?

Yes, I will provide color correction, black and whites, blemish touch-ups, and some imperfections within reason.

Do you provide both color and black and white photography?

Yes, I will provide a combination of both color and black and white images from the boudoir session as I feel both complement this type of art form so well.  However, If you have a specific request of the only color or only black and white I will accommodate any "specific" request.

I'm REALLY shy... and nervous, will you help with posing and provide guidance throughout the shoot?

Absolutely!!!!  It is my job as the photographer to put you at ease, to guide you through the photo process, and pose you in the most flattering and lovely positions for your unique physique.  I've got you covered! 

Can we bring alcohol? 

You are more than welcome to bring some champagne or wine if you would like, it helps ease the nerves and a lot of people even like to use a glass of wine, martini, or champagne as a part of their photo props.

Where are you located?

I’m based in Bend, Oregon, where I have my studio, but my true specialty is outdoor, nature-inspired boudoir photography. You’re welcome to come to my studio, or we can venture into the beautiful outdoors to capture your session. I’m also happy to travel to your home or a rented Airbnb if you prefer a more personal setting. Being located in an outdoor paradise, I have access to a wide variety of stunning locations we can use. I’d love to hop on a Zoom call with you to collaborate and design a session that perfectly matches your unique style and vision.

Do you provide lingerie? 

I sure do! I have a client closet available to utilize with lingerie items, robes, fur and feather bolero cover-ups, lace kimono robes, hats, some jewelry items, bridal veil and other props.

Do I have to wear lingerie? 

No, you do not, if lingerie is not your vibe, you are not required to wear it. You can bring your own items to wear, or I can provide ideas for your shoot that give the "implied tasteful nudity" look.  For example, utilizing sheets or other clothing items.  I will set up a phone or zoom call to help you to prepare for your shoot, we can talk in further detail about your vision, style, and theme of your shoot. 

Can we bring props?

Yes, it's important that the boudoir session reflects your individual personality or fits the person you plan to "gift" the photos to.  For example, some people will bring their partner's tie, dress shirt, wedding dress, favorite jersey to wear, etc. Honestly, the creative ideas to make the photo shoot unique to "you" are endless! 

How do we book you?

After you have reviewed my website and portfolio, please reach out via my contact page on my website and send me an inquiry.   I'll get in touch with you as soon as possible.

Do you require a retainer fee to reserve services?

Yes, I do require a retainer fee for all portraits.   

Do you offer a payment plan?

Not at this time. There is a retainer fee required to reserve your portrait and the remaining balance of the boudoir package is required in full 1 week prior to your session. 

How do I receive my photos? 

You will view your images through a password-protected "gallery" for proofing.  

Do you offer prints and other products? 

Yes, I do, those items are also available to you through your online gallery via an ala carte pricing structure or through a particular package chosen. Please inquire about a product price sheet.

What is your turnaround time? 

1 - 2 week turnaround time upon making your selects for all final images, 2 weeks for a completed album. 

Do we meet you prior to our boudoir session?

If you would like, yes ... I will set up a zoom / online call with you 1 week prior to your boudoir session.  I love spending the time to get to know my clients.   We will go over any questions and assist with the planning of your unique boudoir session. 

Can I use my photos on social media? 

You sure can, you will own the rights to your images! Enjoy... please just don't alter the images in any way... such as crop, add filters, etc.  And I love photo credit too. :)

Do you provide steamy couple's sessions? 

No... I'm sorry, I do not capture couples boudoir. I would be happy to refer to other photographers that do.
